Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs

After getting my feet wet over the last month, I’ve decided to work through Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs (SICP) in its entirety. For a while this book had been on my radar, but:

  1. I’ve never had the discipline to read a textbook front-to-back
  2. I was never sure if an endeavour like this would be worth the effort

However, after reading a few rave reviews, I’m curious to see what it’d be like to actually get through the whole book. I would not complain if I experienced even a small bit of the englightenment Norvig refers to when he says, “it changed the way I think about my profession.”

The plan:

Here’s to a fruitful year!
